Spring Classics Reception:

Each year, at the end of the Spring semester, the classics department gathers to recognize and award those graduating Seniors who have made important contributions to the Classics Department and to the Classics Association. Light refreshments are offered and there is usually a slide show of embarassing moments at Classics events. Officer elections are also held for next year.

The MA Junior Classical League Convention:

For the first time a sizable contingent from BU will be attending to help organize and run the events during this weekend-long event focusing on the high school level Classical League, which takes place annually in Hyannis, the location of Barnstable HS out on the Cape. It should be a lot of fun and college students go free!
